Today, we will discuss how Satan tries to steal our joy. We need to always remember that Satan wants to destroy our lives. Satan knows very well that our true joy comes from God. So his first job is to separate us from God and take away joy from our lives.
Satan tries to steal our joy by sowing seeds of doubt and fear in our minds. And when we believe this plot of Satan, we keep moving away from God. We should have complete faith in the promises of God and His love. Then we can keep our hearts free from all fear and unbelief.
Satan steals joy from our lives by bringing temptations into our lives. When we give in to temptation, we sin and go against God. We should remember that we can resist temptation with the strength that God has given us.
Sometimes Satan uses our circumstances to steal our joy. Sometimes in life, we face such hardships that we think we cannot bear them, and that is when we fall prey to Satan’s temptations. That is why we need to remember that God is with us in times of trouble. He will not give us more trouble than we can bear.
The weapon God has given us to defeat Satan is a prayerful life. When we live a life of prayer, Satan will not have the strength to stand against us. Therefore, we should read the Word of God and live a life of prayer so that Satan will not have the opportunity to steal the joy of our lives.
