We face situations in life that test our righteousness. It is not easy for us to make the right decisions at this time, but God’s Word helps us by giving us knowledge and wisdom. God’s Word reminds us of the benefits of making the right decisions and the terrible consequences of making the wrong ones.
In the story of Adam and Eve, we see that God allowed them to live in a beautiful garden and asked them to eat everything. God forbade them from eating the fruit of only one tree, but they separated themselves from God by choosing to eat the fruit of that forbidden tree. From this story, we understand that every decision we make has far-reaching consequences.
When we look at Jesus, we see that he always did the will of the Father and made the right decisions. Therefore, we should do what God likes. The consequences of disobeying God will bring curses and destruction into our lives.
The daily decisions we make in our lives are very significant. They prepare us for the days ahead. So when we make a decision, let it be in line with God’s Word. If we make a decision that is not in accordance with God’s Word, it will be detrimental to our lives.
On the other hand, we need to remember that God is always with us and the guidance of the Holy Spirit is available to us if we call upon Him. God wants to guide us and help us make the right decisions if we fully surrender our lives to Him.
Let’s look at the following Bible verses that discuss right and wrong choices.
