Today, we will discuss how to avoid being afraid of the future. When we think about the future, we often get scared because we do not know what our future holds. God’s Word helps us to be free from worries about the future by relying on Him.
When we think about our future, it does us no good. Since our lives are in God’s hands, He guides us in His plan. We cannot extend our lives by thinking for even an hour. Therefore, we should surrender ourselves completely to God without worrying about the future.
God has promised us that He will never abandon us. Let us depend on His promises and trust Him in every moment of our lives. If we trust in Him, then worries about the future will never bother us.
A good way to free ourselves from worries about the future is to think about the kingdom of God. When we think and discuss the things of the kingdom of God, all worries are removed from us, and the peace of God dwells in our hearts. So we should always try to think about the kingdom of heaven so that the things of this world will not be able to frighten us.
God has commanded us not to worry about the future. He said that God will provide us with everything for each day. If we do not believe in God’s word, God’s wrath will come upon our lives.
Instead of worrying unnecessarily about the future, let us rely on the promises given by God. Then we can live happily in this world.
Let’s look at the following Bible verses that talk about not worrying about the future.
