Today, we will discuss an interesting topic, which is that Jesus is coming down from heaven. This is a joyous occasion for all believers and the center of our faith. Jesus first came to earth to save sinful people, and he will come again to take those who repent to heaven.
God’s promise to send a Savior was fulfilled when Jesus came to earth from heaven. He did not come to us as a distant God but as a humble servant. Through the humility of Jesus, we can feel that he understands our pain and suffering.
The first coming of Jesus was predicted by the prophets, and they were waiting to see Jesus. Jesus’ coming to earth was a turning point that was God’s intervention to save lost people. Jesus taught us how we can reach God through the new birth. He revealed to us salvation and the kingdom of God, sin, etc.
The people of that time received evidence that Jesus had come from heaven when he was baptized by John the Baptist. At that moment, the doors of heaven were opened, and God declared Jesus is my Son, and I am pleased with him. Through this event, everyone understood that Jesus was not an ordinary man, but that he came from heaven.
When he was on earth, he explained to his disciples that he would return to heaven and that he would come to this earth again. So he commanded us to be ready so that we could reach his kingdom.
