Today, we will discuss why Jesus is described as the light of the world. When we accept Jesus as the light of the world, we grow spiritually. Jesus came to earth so that this dark world could find light in his light.
Light is something that removes darkness and helps us find the truth. The Bible says that everyone in this world has sinned and is separated from God. Jesus came to earth to bring sinful people to his light so that they can be saved.
Jesus’ teachings and words bring people from darkness to the path of light. That is why Jesus said, I am the light of the world, he who receives does not abide in darkness. When we come to Jesus, the darkness of our hearts is removed by the light of Jesus. We find true life, and we are changed by the light of Jesus.
The light of Jesus removes the darkness of our sins and hearts. Therefore, we should all find our true life in the light of Jesus. If we keep ourselves away from the light of Jesus, we will live in darkness.
Another duty of ours is to bring the light of Jesus to others who are still living in darkness. If we do this, others will find true life and have eternal life.
