Believers have victory in Jesus. We face various dangers and problems in our worldly and spiritual lives, but in Jesus we are victorious. Victory here means that we speak of victory over sin, death, and the struggles of this world. We have this victory through the grace and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Jesus proved through his resurrection that those who believe in him will also be victorious after death. This victory comforts us that earthly death is not the end but is the door to eternal life.
Victory in Jesus means the ability to overcome sin in our daily lives. Jesus defeated sin by dying on the cross and sin can no longer have dominion over us. Now we are no longer slaves to sin but have the power to resist temptation through victory in Jesus.
Through victory in Jesus we find peace and joy. Even though we go through difficult situations in this world at times, we have peace in our hearts because we receive this from the Lord Jesus. Through victory in Jesus we can feel that we are not alone but that Almighty God is with us.
