Satan brings confusion into our lives and tries to drive us away from God. There are situations in our lives when we turn away from God. Satan deceives and tempts us to distract us from God by influencing our thoughts.
If we think a little bit about the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, we will understand how Satan misled them. He misled them so much that they doubted God and disobeyed God. From this story we can learn how Satan uses tactics to drive us away from God.
In Jesus’ life we see Satan trying to mislead him as well. But Jesus answered him with the Word of God in such a way that he was forced to flee. He had tempted Jesus and had said that if he worshiped him, the whole world would give him. We can learn from this story if we meditate on God’s Word and keep His Word. We can catch Satan’s tricks.
In our lives the devil is always trying to mislead us and take us away from God. Therefore we must come to God more often so that Satan will not have a chance to come to us. When we give more time to God and read His Word, we can easily identify Satan’s tricks and remove them from our lives.
In addition to these we need to pray to God more and discuss God’s Word with fellow believers. When we do these things, we can protect ourselves from Satan’s evil shots.
