Losing our lives for God means gaining real life. This becomes clear to us when we understand the teachings of Jesus. Jesus said that if we lose our lives for Him, we will gain them. This means that when we surrender our plans and desires to God, He gives us great things in our lives, such as eternal life and the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus Christ has saved us through His life. That is why He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Now we have to live in the teachings and ideals of the Lord Jesus. When we live such righteousness, we have to give up our worldly desires.
We have to go forward to preach the gospel and win lost souls. To do this, we will deprive ourselves of worldly pleasures and happiness. So if we give up all these pleasures and comforts for Jesus, we will be blessed forever.
