The Bible teaches us how to treat those who hate us. When someone hates us, we feel hurt. But as followers of Christ, we are to love those who hate us.
We can learn a lot from the life of the Lord Jesus about how to treat those who hate us. Before Jesus was crucified, Jesus showed love to those who mocked and insulted him. Jesus prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” From this, we can learn to forgive and love those who hate us.
As we walk in God’s way in this world, people often insult and hate us, but we must remember that God wants us to love them.
