Guarding our thoughts is very important. As followers of Christ Jesus, we must be aware of what enters and dwells in our minds. What we think shapes our actions and our actions shape our character.
We can learn from God’s Word to renew our minds. But we cannot do this overnight. We will change ourselves through regular Bible study. When God’s Word enters our hearts, our thoughts will change and that is essential for our spiritual growth.
Prayer is a powerful tool to guard our thoughts. Through prayer, we establish a relationship with God and receive His strength and guidance that helps us change our thoughts and lead us in the path of righteousness.
