There are situations in our lives that we cannot resist. We get anxious and sometimes lose hope in life. In such situations, we should look to God, and we will be saved. God has promised that He will never abandon His righteous people.
From the story of David and Goliath, we can learn how God blesses His children in difficult times. David was a young shepherd boy while Goliath was a giant warrior. We know how David defeated that fearsome giant warrior. David said that the battle was God’s, and the Lord helped him win that battle. So no matter how difficult the situation in our lives is, God will fight for us and make us victorious.
Jesus told us that He has overcome the world, which means no matter what trials we face, we must remember that God is with us. Since Jesus has overcome the world, we are not alone, and He will fight for us. From God’s Word, we learn that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Therefore, we should be well-armed with divine wisdom so we can protect ourselves from the various wiles of the devil.
When God tells us He will fight for us, we need to have complete faith in Him. We should also be patient so that we can follow God’s plan. If we become impatient and fight the battle of our lives in our own strength, we will surely be defeated. Therefore, we should live according to God’s will and have the mindset of winning through His presence.
