Today, we will discuss crying out to God for help. We all face moments in our lives when we are deeply hurt by something and feel a strong need for help. At these times, we need to remember that if we cry out to God, He will answer our prayers.
If we look at the life of David, we will see that he faced numerous difficult situations and dangers. He saved himself from all those situations only by crying out to God. He would express his sorrow to God from his heart through prayer, and God would deliver him from everything.
From the story of Jonah, we can learn that God saves us from our miserable lives. When Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish, he cried out to God, and God delivered him from his terrible situation. From this, we can learn that no matter how far we go from God or how hopeless our situation is, God always hears our prayers and works for us.
Expecting help from God does not mean we are disrespecting ourselves. It means we are honoring God and surrendering our lives to Him. When we surrender to God by giving up the pride of our hearts and praying for His help, He will do miracles in our lives.
Let’s look at the following Bible verses that talk about crying out to God for help.
