The Bible teaches us to walk separately from the world around us. This means that we should not live like the world does. Those who do not accept Jesus do not believe in eternal life, and they think that the world is everything.
But we who believe we know this world is fleeting, and we have eternal life after death. That is why we should keep ourselves out of this world. We should never behave and live as the people of the world do.
The main purpose of our life is to enter into eternal life. Jesus came to earth to take us to the kingdom of heaven. So while we are trusting Jesus, we will keep ourselves out of this world by following all His teachings.
We may think that if we do not get worldly things it will be loss for us but we need to remember that going to eternal heaven is very valuable. So we should never lose our eternal life by getting caught up in the petty things of this world.
Let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about not following the world.
