Today, we will discuss remembering God’s faithfulness. In various events in the Bible, we see God’s faithfulness to his people. These events reassure us and give us the courage to trust in God.
In the story of Noah, we see God saving Noah and his family but destroying the rest of the people with a flood. He promised never to destroy the world again with a flood. From this event, we can learn that God is faithful and He has mercy on His people.
God told Abraham that he would make him the father of many nations. But even though Abraham and Sarah were old, God kept that promise by giving them a son. Through the birth of Isaac, God fulfilled the promise he made to Abraham. From this story, we can learn that God does what he says.
In the New Testament, we see God’s faithfulness through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament said that a child would be born to save mankind and that he would be a mighty God. God kept this promise through the life of the Lord Jesus, and His death on the cross, He brought salvation to all mankind.
God is not a man who lies. He does what He promises in our lives. Sometimes we do not understand how He does it, but we need to remember that He fulfills His promise by making the impossible possible.
Let us look at the following Bible verses that talk about remembering God’s faithfulness.
