Today, we will discuss from God’s Word why God wants us to be happy. We want to enjoy our lives, and we know God wants us to be happy. God wants us to be truly happy, where we seek happiness in temporary earthly things.
From God’s Word, we learn that Adam and Eve lived happily before sin entered the world. But because they disobeyed God, they had to suffer. Since sin lives in our flesh and blood, we are also suffering in pain in the world.
We seek happiness through various things in the world and worldly wealth. If we think a little deeper, do these things in the world give us eternal happiness? Of course not, because we will only get true happiness from God. And that happiness will be found when we enter eternal life.
When we obey God’s commandments, our thoughts change the way we live. Then we get a taste of a new life. This is the true joy that we receive from God. On the other hand, whatever we get by disobeying God’s Word gives us temporary pleasure but long-term sorrow and pain.
Since God wants us to be happy and joyful, we should surrender our lives to God. If we obey His commandments and follow His path, we will find true joy in life.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 :—
“For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, knowledge, joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity vexation of spirit”

“I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, to do good in his lifeAnd also that every man should eat drink, enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God”
